Dr. Marion Hsueh grew up in Queens, New York, where she formed a deep appreciation for communities of diverse languages, cultures, and backgrounds. From an early age she developed a strong passion for community service by volunteering in nursing homes, coaching middle schoolers in volleyball, and mentoring and tutoring at risk youth. She strives to practice medicine in a way that uniquely individualizes care to all people in the local Visalia community.
Dr. Marion Hsueh graduated from Cornell University College of Human Ecology with a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, Health and Society and has conducted research in a wide array of fields from adolescent behavioral studies to molecular biology studies. She received a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine and attended medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training in family medicine at Nassau University Medical Center, a public safety net hospital.
As a primary care physician Dr. Hsueh is committed to serving those in all backgrounds and walks of life. She practices adolescent and adult medicine as well as women’s health. She has a particular passion for preventive medicine and promoting health education by providing individualized guidance and counseling to engage patients in partaking in their own overall wellness.
