Meet Dr. Patty

What attracted you to practicing in Tulare County?

I chose to come back and practice in Tulare County because this is my home. The further I lived from home I realized how beautiful central California is. I missed the people, the fresh produce and even the fog.

How do you break the ice with a new patient?

I like to break the ice with patients by asking them to tell me about themselves. What makes you YOU? This helps guide me and find out what’s important to each individual.

What's the most important advice you have for patients?

Ask questions. You should leave your appointments feeling empowered with a plan to improve or maintain your health.

Where is the farthest you have been from home?

The farthest I’ve been from home is Italy, where I studied abroad while in college. I lived in Mexico for 4 years, then trained in Chicago for a year before my residency training at UCSF Fresno.

What type of pets do you have?

I have a Shih Tzu named Simon that I adopted while living in Mexico. He’s moved from Mexico to Chicago and then to Visalia with me.
